Where the bike’s surf rack would normally go, there’s instead a “DJ booth,” comprised of a quartet of Marshall Middleton portable speakers with a Deus Records sign at its center. Except, it’s not just a sign; it’s a transforming rack with a genuine turntable (the DJ kind, not the vinyl kind), hidden within it.
Park the bike, pop up the turntable, and this electric vehicle turns into a mobile music-making party station — no extras required. Better yet, even with these new additions (and all the other stylistic swaps), it’s still a street-legal electric vehicle.
Life is a highway
Like its siblings, this take on the CE 02 still has an electric belt drive that’s good for up to 15 horsepower, 56 miles per charge and 59 mph. It can also charge up to 80 percent in under three hours. However, there are some other noteworthy changes.
For instance, this version has a custom-made leather saddle with Deus Records embroidery. It also has consistent styling and coloring from tip to tail, including the DJ rack itself.
