The SoundLink Plus comes with most of the usual features you’d expect from today’s portable Bluetooth speaker. It has an IP67 rating and is perfectly suited for the pool or beach — Bose claims it even floats.

As far as battery life, Bose claims its rated for up to 20 hours. Most interestingly, its USB-C input/output port allows it to double as a portable power bank for your other devices, too.

The second-generation SoundLink Micro looks mostly the same, but has new features and double the battery life.

Eight years after the original’s release, Bose is finally releasing a second-generation version of its smallest portable Bluetooth speaker: the SoundLink Micro.

The updated speaker bears a strong resemblance to its 2017 predecessor, but Bose has incorporated several modern enhancements. It now supports USB-C charging (good riddance, micro-USB) and has doubled its battery life, now up to 12 hours.
